Pet Portraits by Ingrid
Would you like to forever capture the unique charm of your favourite pet in a personalised portrait?

Ingrid can immortalise your most important companion with an original oil painting to make a perfect ever lasting gift for someone... or just yourself!
How does it work?
In case you are worried, you do not have to sit your beloved cat, dog (or other animal) in Ingrid's studio for hours! This is how the process works:
1. Choose a photo
Send us a high quality photo of your pet to base the artwork on - if you have a few to choose from Ingrid can advise on which might make for the best portrait, but the final choice will be yours.
2. Confirm the size and price of your portrait
Using the price guide at the bottom of the page you can work out what size and shape you would like your pet portrait to be and also if you would like to incorporate gold leaf into it. We can advise you through this process.

3. Pay a 30% deposit to start
When you are happy with the price, photo and size of your portrait you pay a 30% deposit to officially start the process. ​Ingrid will then get to work on your unique oil painting, and keep you updated on its progress! It can take 4-8 weeks to complete depending on the size and complexity of the piece.

4. Pay the remainder on completion
When Ingrid has finished your artwork the remainder amount is paid before it is shipped over to you by recorded delivery.

Price Guide
Ingrid uses a combination of oils and acryllics on either canvas or wooden board to paint your pet portrait. A rough guide to prices is as follows:

A2 (59.4cm x 42cm) - £750
A3 (42cm x 29.7cm) - £600
A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) - £450
A5 (21cm x 14.8cm) - £350
Square (30cm x 30cm) - £500
Circular (20cm x 20cm) - £400
​
An optional extra of using gold leaf as a background would add between £50 - £100 to the price depending on the size of the portrait.
